Ferry", 18 size, 11 jewels, key wind and set gilt plate movement with lever escapement and steel balance in a 6 oz., coin silver hunting case with engraved ornament on front cover and Roman numeral, single sunk white enamel dial, blued steel spade hands, serial #72883, c1870.
CONDITION:
CASE: Dents, band; Dings and pin pricks; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Fine scratches on inner surface of case; Front cover hinge sticky; Bow replaced; Pusher with wear and minor deformation; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Small filled loss at top of seconds bit. HANDS: Minor oxide. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Gouge at case screw; Minor spotting; Small spot of corrosion on barrel bridge; Regulator with specks of oxide; Case screw replaced; One bridge screw replaced; Screws with discoloration and losses to blue. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks) .
